Level: Beginner/ no experience required

 

Aim: To provide a sound and careful introduction into the principles of Contemporary Dance in a safe environment.

Warm up-Progressive technical exercises focusing on the foundations of Contemporary dance

  • Roll downs

  • Swings

  • Fall and suspension

  • Floorwork

Dynamic Traveling and transitions-

  • Rolls

  • jumps

  • in and out of the floor safely

  • weight shifting/ weight bearing

Combo- sequence incorporating material explored throughout the workshop
